The People’s Choice Awards will air this evening to recognize the best in music, movies and TV. While honoring those who have excelled in entertainment is interesting, recognizing those that have done good work in employment is infinitely more useful. That’s why I urge you to vote for the User’s Choice Awards (and encourage your friends and colleagues to do so as well).
There are plenty of pundits opining about which online employment sites are the best, but only these awards empower actual users – job seekers and recruiters – to select the winners. It’s our chance to be heard on one of the most important aspects of career success: excellence in employment support.
I founded these awards almost a decade ago and they have quietly built up a reputation for honoring both well-established job boards and social media sites and those smaller or less renowned sites that consistently provide superior support for job seekers and career activists. So, please cast your vote and spread the word, the polling station is located here.
